20 = "You enter the Keep of Tinraya. Once Valorim's wealthiest, mightiest city, it's now just another pathetic ruin, devastated by the fury of the alien beasts.";
21 = "Surprisingly, most of the buildings are still standing. The beasts probably kept them standing to serve as lairs. You can hear them. Dozens of them, if not hundreds, lurking in the ruins.";
22 = "You do see one thing of great interest. The west side of town is dominated by a massive structure. It's not an original part of the town. It's recent. It is formed of round, smooth, curved stone. It looks like it was grown, not built.";
23 = "Whatever it is, it wasn't made by the humans who lived there. It rose out of the ground, crushing the buildings in its way. Now it looms over the keep, an alien presence, surrounded by rubble.";

26 = "This bedroom is, while dusty, intact and free of bodies. You could rest here if you wanted, although you can't guess what the alien beasts will do while you're holed up in here.";
27 = "";
28 = "Undeterred by the pitiful squeals of the baby beasts, you smash the crystal. Glowing rock, melted by the unleashed magical energy, flows out. It oozes into the breeding vats, one after the other. The resulting conflagration soon spirals out of control, turning the inside of the tower searing hot.";
29 = "The little beasts screech and are silenced. This is sure to be only a temporary solution. Whoever created these things can easily breed more. However, it will take some time for the pools to be rebuilt and for the breeding solution to be remixed.";

32 = "The birth vats have a glowing crystal in the middle, providing heat to them to sustain the little beast babies. The growth medium won't last long without the crystal to maintain it.";
33 = "Do you smash the crystal?";
34 = "When you enter this breeding pit, you learn at last where the horrible alien beasts come from. They come from hot, humid, slime-filled halls like this one.";
35 = "There are several large troughs in alcoves in the walls. Each is filled with greenish gray goop. Under the surface you see large, round eggs and dozens of baby alien beasts, none larger than your hand. They happily swim and play in the muck.";
36 = "These vats must be where the creatures are born and grow! When old enough, they emerge, shake off the viscous goo, and depart, ready to wreak havoc.";
37 = "As you inspect these sinister works, you start to feel lightheaded. There is a strong methane smell in this room.";

39 = "The wheel refuses to budge. A close inspection reveals why. The beasts have been chewing on the works. Without major repair work, the gates will remain stuck open.";

41 = "You try to turn the wheel, but it doesn't budge. You look closer and find a keyhole in its base. You suspect that, without the key, you won't be able to release the mechanism. None of your keys fit.";

43 = "The wheel refuses to turn until you locate a keyhole in its base. The key you found downstairs fits. You unlock the wheel and turn it. It controls the gates in the east side of the tower.";

45 = "The wheel is stuck. It won't turn anymore.";

47 = "The job board is, unsurprisingly, bare of promising and profitable missions.";
